BURN PERMITS

Do you have slash, tree cuttings, or debris piling up on your property in Northeast Teller County? Look no further than the Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District (NETCFPD)! We offer residents a safe and responsible way to dispose of this material through controlled burning.

Important Note: Open burning is prohibited within the City of Woodland Park, except for small recreational fires with flames not exceeding three feet. If you reside in Woodland Park, please refer to their specific regulations.

Contact your company, health insurance, or agent if it is your personal policy. You may be covered under your homeowner’s, automobile, or health insurance. This would apply in the event of short or long-term disability, also.

ISO is the Insurance Service Office, a nationwide independent agency that evaluates Fire Department Capabilities and helps set insurance rates by providing information to Insurance Companies.

While we serve the city, our district extends beyond its boundaries, safeguarding a larger community.

ISO is hired by insurance companies as an independent agency to evaluate Fire Departments and help them evaluate risk and use that to determine insurance rates. FIRE CORPS OPPORTUNITIES

Support your community alongside dedicated firefighters and paramedics by joining the Fire Corps. The Northeast Teller County Fire District (NETCFPD) welcomes you to join our Fire Corps, a national program connecting passionate citizens with valuable non-operational roles within the department.

Our Fire Corps volunteers, many of whom are also Teller County first responders, play a crucial role in supporting our professionals and ensuring the district’s smooth operation. From administrative tasks and public education initiatives to assisting with community events and emergency preparedness programs, your contributions are invaluable.

No experience? No problem! We believe anyone with a helping heart and a commitment to service can make a difference. Our Fire Corps welcomes diverse backgrounds and skills, offering fulfilling opportunities for everyone.

Becoming a Fire Corps member is simple

  • Meet the basic requirements Pass a CBI background check and driver's history check, and be at least 18 years old.
  • Join us for our monthly business and training meeting Meet fellow volunteers, learn about current needs, and discover exciting ways to contribute. Our meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 12pm and last approximately two hours.
